Today's proliferation of international meetings without announced results and preparations for additional meetings are indicators that state leaders are gathering information for forming national positions, but are not prepared to divulge them.
Tonight's good news is the US Navy Seal Team Six rescue in Somalia. Any operations that help restore the aura of American military invincibility do more to protect American citizens abroad than going to war. The Israelis have lost it, for now, but Seal Team Six has done much to reclaim it for the US.
