May 11, 2010 — DARPA Chooses KGS to Continue Providing Comptroller Support
KGS was awarded a five-year contract on May 3, 2010, to continue providing a wide range of support services to the DARPA Office of the Comptroller. KGS has been supporting this DARPA organization since 1994. Services that KGS will provide to DARPA include:
- Project Management of daily staff operations, procedural expertise, and status meetings and reporting
- Core Agency Financial Management Support for: budget planning and tracking; funds control; funds transfer; general ledger accounting; obligation clearing house; travel operations; validation of unliquidated obligations; reconciliation with external entities and systems; data conversion and reconciliation; independent process audit; data entry, analysis, and maintenance of procurement databases; distribution and filing of financial packages; and executive and administrative assistance
- Decentralized Financial Management Support to specific DARPA technical codes and their respective Assistant Directors of Program on fiscal, budgetary, procurement, and administrative matters
