March 25, 2010 — KGS Awarded New Prime and Subcontracts to Support Technology Improvements at Three Major Government Agencies
March 22, 2010. KGS today announced the company has been awarded a new prime contract and two new subcontracts in support of information technology and software engineering and maintenance for three government agencies. The prime contract is a 5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract to support information technology initiatives that will focus on the efficiency of the client’s internal operations, expanding information access to users, and improving electronic communications capabilities. The second award is a 5-year subcontract agreement to enhance and maintain software for a range of Healthcare information systems. The third award is a subcontract for a 5-year ID/IQ in support of software maintenance as well system engineering and enterprise operations activities.
