September 28, 2007 — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Information Sharing and Collaboration (IS&C) Office Selects Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) to support the IS&C in developing the Data Asset Catalog Phase II for DHS
Kforce Government Solutions (KGS), a DHS EAGLE prime contractor, was awarded a 1-year task order to develop the Data Asset Catalog (DAC) Phase II. This support will further solidify information sharing capabilities and information associated with the data assets identified in the DAC Phase I effort. DAC Phase II is a companion effort to the DAC Phase I work KGS is currently performing for the DHS-Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO). The Data Asset Phase I work focuses on identification of DHS data assets, while this new effort with the IS&C focuses on establishment of sharing capabilities and the information associated with data assets identified in DAC Phase I. DAC Phase II will include additional information on data assets including quality, refresh, and policy rules for sharing of specific assets with internal and external data stakeholders.
