July 16, 2007 — Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) awarded task order by U.S. Coast Guard supporting Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)
Kforce Government Solutions was awarded a task order by the U.S. Coast Guard to provide support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) for remediation of audit weaknesses, findings, and recommendations in the areas of property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) and Construction in Progress (CIP), including valuation of U.S. Coast Guard legacy assets. Kforce Government Solutions will also provide assistance to the USCG OCFO for development of supporting policies, procedures, and internal controls. This work will be performed at USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC, at the U.S. Coast Guard Finance Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, and will also involve site visits to USCG Civil Engineering Units (CEU), Facility Design and Construction Centers (FDCC), Inventory Control Points (ICP), and field units throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
