KGS is committed to using small businesses in the performance of all EAGLE awarded contracts. We have long standing relationships with many small businesses of various designations and know them to provide high-quality, cost-effective services. KGS intends to make available the resources, experience and expertise of our subcontracting teammates whenever a teaming partner’s qualifications strengthen and/or expand KGS’s EAGLE program related capabilities and services. In an effort to do so, we will perform the following:

• Maintain real time data on all aspects of compliance with the contract small business/small disadvantaged business (SB/SDB) plans and objectives and providing advice to the Program Director, accordingly;
• Review draft delivery order plans to assure that proper attention is given to integrating SB/SDB labor content;
• Perform as an advocate for the SB/SDB team members; and
• Review and comment on all subcontracts to SB/SDB team members.

KGS will review current and proposed contract activity to determine the logical elements that may be effectively performed by our subcontracting teaming partners with assurance of satisfactory performance pertaining to the DHS EAGLE support services. MBR Computer Consultants, Inc. (MBR CCI) was formed in 2000 and subsequently received certification in 2003 as a minority-owned, veteran-owned and operated SDB, SBA 8(a) Program Participant. Located in Annandale, VA.  With an emphasis on IT support services for Department of State & DoD Programs, MBR CCI supplies cleared personnel for its federal IT and engineering clients.  MBR CCI and KGS are current formalized participating partners in DHS's Mentor Protégé program.
