R. Paul Kennett
Vice President, Intelligence Solutions
Mr. Kennett joined KGS in September 2009 as the Vice President, Intelligence Solutions. He provides strategic vision and analytic insight into developing the intelligence solutions business sector at KGS and oversees analytical tasks and assignments of our customers.
Prior to joining KGS, Mr Kennett had a distinguished 24-year career in the United States Navy. He most recently held the position of Chief of Intelligence Plans at U.S. Central Command where he served as USCENTCOM intelligence lead for every strategic, operational, deliberate, and contingency planning effort in Southwest Asia and the Horn of Africa over the last four years, including Iraq and Afghanistan. His responsibilities included expertise in collection, analysis, operations, strategy, planning, foreign disclosure, policy, human intelligence, human terrain analysis, counter-terrorism, and humanitarian operations. He also served as lead for planning coordination with allied and partner nations.
Prior to US Central Command, Mr Kennett served in a variety of naval intelligence positions at the strategic, operational and tactical level throughout his career including: strike intelligence, budget development & execution, all-source fusion & reporting, amphibious warfare, special warfare, executive intelligence support, multi-media & information systems, global customer support, and collections, targeting & bomb damage assessment.
Mr Kennett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Cumberland College. He is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the United States Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting. He also attended the Naval Intelligence Business Executive Course at the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey, California.
