Kathleen Massie

Senior Director, Contracts and Compliance

Kathleen Massie joined KGS as Senior Director, Contracts and Compliance in September of 2011. She provides guidance and strategy on federal contracts and compliance matters.

Prior to joining KGS, Ms. Massie was the Manager of DoD and Federal Healthcare Contracts at Hewlett-Packard (HP) where she had oversight of contract management for HP’s federal contracts across all DoD and Civilian Healthcare agencies and departments. Prior to HP’s acquisition of EDS, Ms. Massie was EDS’ Director of Federal Contracts for over 10 years. During her combined 17 years with EDS (and then HP), she held leadership roles in the contracts organizations and had hands-on experience with many large, complex procurements and contracts. In 2010, she also served as HP’s primary Contracts Negotiator for the Continuity of Services Contract (CoSC). This complex, sole source contract (valued at > $3B) was designed to facilitate the Department of the Navy’s (DoN) transition from the Navy Marine Corps Intranet Contract to their future Next Generation (NGEN) procurements. In prior positions, Ms. Massie led a Pricing organization at Xerox Corporation and managed an Accounts Receivable department for C3, Inc.

Ms. Massie brings over 25 years of contract and business management expertise to KGS. She attended the University of Maryland and received a Certificate in Procurement and Contract Management from the University of Virginia.
