Paul Westover

Vice President, Professional and Technical Solutions

Mr. Westover joined KGS in December 2008. As the Vice President for Professional and Technical Solutions he oversees business development and provides strategic vision for KGS's network operations, program management, Six Sigma, information assurance, and logistics functions solutions.

Prior to joining KGS, Mr. Westover was the Vice President for Network Operations and Information Assurance for dNovus RDI with profit and loss responsibility for over 70 personnel. While at dNovus RDI Mr. Westover led the initiative to branch into the Network Operations field which resulted in growing the company's overall revenues by more than 30% and establishing dNovus RDI as the premier Network Operations provider for the United States Air Force.

Prior to joining dNovus RDI, Mr. Westover was the Deputy Director for Information Assurance at Lockheed Martin (previously ACS Defense) with daily program management and oversight responsibility for over 120 IA professionals supporting the National Security Agency. While at Lockheed Martin, Mr. Westover performed network vulnerability assessments, evaluated security products, architected network security solutions, implemented DoD Certification & Accreditation programs, and investigated network security incidents. A Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Mr. Westover has a passion for infrastructure protection and computer security awareness.

Before joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Westover had a distinguished 10-year career with the United States Army. Commissioned as an Aviation Officer, he held several flight assignments culminating in being selected to command the Headquarters and Headquarters Company of the 17th Aviation Brigade in Seoul, Korea. Following his flight assignments, Mr. Westover was assigned to the US Army's only counterintelligence computer investigations laboratory at Fort Meade, Maryland. While at the lab, he was responsible for all aspects of the network investigations program to include Special Agent training, case load management, and providing Subject Matter Expert advice to ongoing investigations. Additionally Mr. Westover was responsible for coordinating computer forensics analysis support to customers across the Army and DoD.

Mr. Westover graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Mr. Westover was the distinguished graduate from the US Army Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) Aviator Course. He is active in several community youth support and outreach programs. He and his wife Michelle have two children and reside in San Antonio, Texas.
