Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Walker is Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer for KGS. As Chief Data Officer she is responsible for overseeing KGS’s proprietary Data Confidence® offering and ensuring KGS remains a premier data management company in the federal contracting industry. An expert in Enterprise Architecture and Data/Information/Knowledge Management best practices, with over two decades of experience assisting private and public sector clients, Ms. Walker is focused on delivering solutions and services to help KGS clients realize Data Confidence®.
Ms. Walker has engineered and delivered award winning Enterprise Architecture, Data/Information/Knowledge Management, Process Re-engineering, and Performance Measurement solutions and is currently serving as a strategic advisor and architect guiding major enterprise transformation efforts in the Defense, Homeland Security, and Intelligence arenas. An honors graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), Ms. Walker also completed graduate course work at UNC-CH and has completed advanced training in a number of management and data management topics.
Ms. Walker has held executive leadership positions with Acton Burnell, WalkerBurr, and KGS. She is also the author of numerous articles and white papers on enterprise architecture, performance management, and information management topics and a frequent speaker and trainer at national and international conferences and workshops.
